Please join fellow men committed to women’s health on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 7-11 p.m. Sip classic cocktails (beer, wine, mojitos, martini’s and no cosmos) on the deck of the beautiful Lincoln Park home of Below the Belt celebration committee members Jeff and Karen Parkhill. Dine on shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, grilled steak, and dessert while mingling with like-minded men. 100% proceeds go to the Women’s Health Foundation. Wine Tasting with Charles Shaw
A night to remember is yours with a personal wine tasting in an amazingly perfect setting for any wine lover. Join renowned winemaker Charles Shaw who will lead you and seventeen friends through a tasting of “Five Noble Wines of the World.” Using your eyes, nose, and taste, you’ll learn to evaluate wines like the pros and taste a Loire Valley white, a white Burgundy, a red Burgundy, and a Pomeral from France and a Riesling from germany. Each couple attending will take home a copy of How to Taste: A Guide to Enjoying Wine by Jancis Robinson.
